side porch Cabin FAQ

The Side Porch Cabin is most commonly used for a weekend get-away, tiny home, office, or hunting cabin.

When purchasing the Side Porch Cabin, you can choose to finance most sizes through rent to own. This will allow you to finance your cabin with no credit check. Otherwise, for the larger sizes with a higher dollar value you would need to use Light Stream financing. The cap for rent to own is $15,000 and the cap for Light Stream financing is $100,000.

The Side Porch Cabin comes standard just as open studs (framing only), but could certainly be finished out however you would like.

The number of people the Side Porch Cabin can sleep depends on the size and how you design the cabin. In general, it will sleep anywhere from 4 to 12 people.

The Side Porch Cabin comes with a 6’ wide porch.

A Side Porch Cabin will last for at least 50 years, because we use top of the line products. From the siding to the windows to the roofing, we strive to use and build the highest quality product. If you take good care of it and maintain it properly it will last your lifetime no problem!

Since the Side Porch Cabin is portable, a permit may not be required. However, it is best to check with your city or zoning, as each place is different. If you finish the interior with plumbing, electrical, etc it is very likely that you will need a permit.

At Countryside Barns, we strive to build the highest quality Side Porch Cabin for our customers. When you choose Countryside Barns, you are choosing a high-quality product for an affordable price.

Brian Koppenhoefer

I have two buildings from Countryside Barns on my property. The first one is a lofted garden shed purchased a delivered in 2016. The second is a garage purchased in 2023. The second was originally going to be a small 8’X12’ garden shed. Due to a variance requirement with the city, I was not able to place the small garden shed in the respectable place I selected on my property. Countryside Barns was understanding, I put a halt on the order 6 days after placing it. Thank you, Jessica! I selected a new location on my property and was able to go bigger 14’X32’. I also decided to go with a portable garage vs a garden shed. With a copy of the approved permit and my down payment I signed the contract. With both buildings I have had a few issues but they were taken care of. EDIT: Photos are from months later, they did not install rock, landscaping, gutters, concrete, or electrical.

These guys were great. Communication was top notch from start to finish. They responded very fast when I had any questions. The price is perfect for their quailty.. And above all their Mule thing they use to move the sheds is a event in itsekf. Great company and great people. 👍

Jesse & Erin Rieker

Great to work with! We love our shed!

John Streit

Highly recommended. Our new shed fits nicely with our renovated space and looks great. The design process was easy and ended up being just what we wanted. I appreciate the craftsmanship and attention to detail, and we are sure to get many years of use out of it. It’s great to work with local businesses.

Darcy Newell

Both the product and the installation process exceeded all expectations! Everything was done exactly when they said it would be, and the quality of construction is exceptional. Patrick made the delivery and checked leveling very carefully and even took the time to add a couple bumpers to the door and touch up paint on the base or at a tiny scratch from installation. This shed is certainly built to last!

Marco

I had the pleasure of working with Brian, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome of my experience! From the design of our shed to the seamless delivery, everything exceeded my expectations!
