Zoning codes vary by location. It is up to you to contact your town or city hall and find out if your local zoning board requires you to obtain a permit.

When choosing a greenhouse, consider the available space, how you plan to use it, the amount of growing space you need, and the features that will make gardening easier. Our lead time can vary throughout the year depending on our current work-load. In general, our build time in the winter is much quicker than the build time in the spring or summer. For a fully finished interior cabin the lead time will be longer than a normal shed or “shell only” cabin. Contact us today to get a current estimate.

At Countryside Barns we stand behind our products. Most of the building components that we use come with a warranty from the manufacturer. If your building is damaged during delivery or installation we will take care of getting it fixed. You will find that we stand behind what we sell by reading our review page.

Brian Koppenhoefer

I have two buildings from Countryside Barns on my property. The first one is a lofted garden shed purchased a delivered in 2016. The second is a garage purchased in 2023. The second was originally going to be a small 8’X12’ garden shed. Due to a variance requirement with the city, I was not able to place the small garden shed in the respectable place I selected on my property. Countryside Barns was understanding, I put a halt on the order 6 days after placing it. Thank you, Jessica! I selected a new location on my property and was able to go bigger 14’X32’. I also decided to go with a portable garage vs a garden shed. With a copy of the approved permit and my down payment I signed the contract. With both buildings I have had a few issues but they were taken care of. EDIT: Photos are from months later, they did not install rock, landscaping, gutters, concrete, or electrical.

Jesse & Erin Rieker

Great to work with! We love our shed!

John Streit

Highly recommended. Our new shed fits nicely with our renovated space and looks great. The design process was easy and ended up being just what we wanted. I appreciate the craftsmanship and attention to detail, and we are sure to get many years of use out of it. It’s great to work with local businesses.

Darcy Newell

Both the product and the installation process exceeded all expectations! Everything was done exactly when they said it would be, and the quality of construction is exceptional. Patrick made the delivery and checked leveling very carefully and even took the time to add a couple bumpers to the door and touch up paint on the base or at a tiny scratch from installation. This shed is certainly built to last!

Marco

I had the pleasure of working with Brian, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome of my experience! From the design of our shed to the seamless delivery, everything exceeded my expectations!
