Shed Delivery & Installation

Worrying about your shed delivery is not uncommon. It’s the most dynamic piece of buying a shed because there are so many moving parts, literally. When you buy a shed, cabin, or portable building from Countryside Barns and sign up for delivery, you can put your mind at ease knowing that you are working with some of the best shed delivery specialists in the entire country. The team of experts at Countryside barns manufactures, sells, delivers, and installs hundreds of sheds each year. If your shed can fit where you want it to go, we’ll help you install it there. All while not destroying your lawn or ripping off your gutters.

Service and Free Delivery Area

Step 1: Prepare Your Site for Shed Delivery

Before you accept delivery of a shed from Countryside Barns, you are responsible for preparing the site where your shed will be installed. You need to find an appropriate location, check local ordinances and build out a foundation. We recommend a four or five-inch level gravel base for your building. For more guidance, read this article on preparing for shed delivery and installation.

In addition to requiring a level site to place your building, we need:

The ability to access your location.
Any openings we need to take your building through should be at least one foot wider than your building’s width.

Step 2: Accept Delivery of Your Shed

Once you’ve prepared your site and are ready for delivery, we’ll drive out to your location on the scheduled day and drop off your building. We’ll use your street or driveway as a staging area, make sure we have a clear path to your desired installation location, and break out a shed delivery machine called the Mule.

Step 3: Shed Installation Using the Mule

Using our state-of-the-art equipment, your new building will be carefully placed on your readied site by our delivery experts. The Mule minimizes the impact of delivery on your manicured lawn and allows for great maneuverability. That means we’re able to install your shed in the exact location you have planned for it.

The first one is a lofted garden shed purchased a delivered in 2016.  The second is a garage purchased in 2023.  The second was originally going to be a small 8’X12’ garden shed.  Due to a variance requirement with the city, I was not able to place the small garden shed in the respectable place I selected on my property.  Countryside Barns was understanding, I put a halt on the order 6 days after placing it.  Thank you, Jessica!  I selected a new location on my property and was able to go bigger 14’X32’.  I also decided to go with a portable garage vs a garden shed.  With a copy of the approved permit and my down payment I signed the contract.  With both buildings I have had a few issues but they were taken care of. EDIT: Photos are from months later, they did not install rock, landscaping, gutters, concrete, or electrical.

Everything was done exactly when they said it would be, and the quality of construction is exceptional. Patrick made the delivery and checked leveling very carefully and even took the time to add a couple bumpers to the door and touch up paint on the base or at a tiny scratch from installation.
