What Our Customers Have to Say

Shed Delivery & Installation FAQ

How much does shed delivery and installation cost?

Shed delivery and installation are free if your location is within our free service area (dark green circle on the map above). If your location falls in the light green circle, we charge a mileage fee which can be calculated for your building using our shed designer.

Do you hook up sheds to electricity?

Unfortunately, we have a team of shed delivery experts, not licensed electricians. If you want to run power to your shed, we recommend you contact a local electrician. Work with your electrician to determine exactly where you want your building placed, and we’ll make sure it gets there.

What kind of storage sheds do you deliver and install?

If we can fit it on our trucks, we’ll deliver it. The general rule of thumb is that we’ll deliver anything we build on a solid floor. That includes all of our sheds, cabins, gazebos, and portable buildings. It excludes backyard structures like pergolas and pavilions. Generally for portable buildings, the width of the building being delivered cannot be more than 16 feet wide and 12 feet tall.

What types of sites and foundations are acceptable?

Gravel and concrete are the two best materials for shed and portable building foundations. Placing a shed directly on the ground or roadbase may lead to the premature rotting of the wood used to build your shed. The most important thing about your shed foundation is that it will help drain water away from your building.

How do you transport a large shed?

Our large sheds and buildings are transported the same way our smaller ones are, on a trailer towed behind a truck. We even have modular buildings that can be delivered on two separate trucks and installed together onsite.

Do you provide shed moves?

We do provide shed moves on a single property or between properties when our schedule allows. Due to the high demand for our shed delivery services, we cannot always guarantee that we will be able to help out with shed moves. If you are interested in moving a shed on your property or between properties, we recommend that you contact us to inquire about the current availability of shed moving services.

Can you deliver a shed over a house?

Yes, with the help of a crane service, we can help you deliver your shed over your house or other obstacles, depending on the size of the shed and the size of the obstacles.
