Lofted side porch Cabin FAQ

The Lofted Side Porch Cabin is a great option for a tiny home, weekend get-away place, or even a hunting cabin. Other uses could include an office or even a storage building.

The Lofted Side Porch Cabin comes standard just as a “shell only” with open stud walls, but could certainly be finished out however you would like.

When it comes to financing for your Lofted Side Porch Cabin, there are financing options even for those with low credit. We offer rent to own financing with no credit check for many of the Lofted Side Porch Cabin sizes, although because of the dollar value of the larger ones you would need to use Light Stream financing for those. The cap for rent to own is $15,000 and the cap for Light Stream financing is $100,000.

The Lofted Side Porch Cabin comes standard with 80.5” sidewalls, and the loft joists sit right above that.

When contemplating whether to buy or build your lofted side porch cabin, there are several factors to take into consideration. A few of those would be your time, the hassle, and the quality of the building. Even though it may be cheaper to build your own cabin, when you buy a lofted side porch cabin, you are buying a professionally built shed. Since shed builders buy their materials in bulk, they can save money – offering you a higher quality item at a lower cost. In the end, purchasing through a shed company can save you time and hassle and deliver you better quality!

The deck is 6’ wide on a Lofted Side Porch Cabin.

The Lofted Side Porch Cabin sleeps at least 6 people. For a larger size you may be able to sleep up to 20 people – it totally depends on the size and how you design it.

Brian Koppenhoefer

I have two buildings from Countryside Barns on my property. The first one is a lofted garden shed purchased a delivered in 2016. The second is a garage purchased in 2023. The second was originally going to be a small 8’X12’ garden shed. Due to a variance requirement with the city, I was not able to place the small garden shed in the respectable place I selected on my property. Countryside Barns was understanding, I put a halt on the order 6 days after placing it. Thank you, Jessica! I selected a new location on my property and was able to go bigger 14’X32’. I also decided to go with a portable garage vs a garden shed. With a copy of the approved permit and my down payment I signed the contract. With both buildings I have had a few issues but they were taken care of. EDIT: Photos are from months later, they did not install rock, landscaping, gutters, concrete, or electrical.

Brian Sparks

These guys were great. Communication was top notch from start to finish. They responded very fast when I had any questions. The price is perfect for their quailty.. And above all their Mule thing they use to move the sheds is a event in itsekf. Great company and great people. 👍

Would highly recommend Countryside Barns. The sheds are high quality and Brian was very professional in the sale of our shed and Ernie was also very professional in the installation of our shed.

Jesse & Erin Rieker

Great to work with! We love our shed!

John Streit

Highly recommended. Our new shed fits nicely with our renovated space and looks great. The design process was easy and ended up being just what we wanted. I appreciate the craftsmanship and attention to detail, and we are sure to get many years of use out of it. It’s great to work with local businesses.

Darcy Newell

Both the product and the installation process exceeded all expectations! Everything was done exactly when they said it would be, and the quality of construction is exceptional. Patrick made the delivery and checked leveling very carefully and even took the time to add a couple bumpers to the door and touch up paint on the base or at a tiny scratch from installation. This shed is certainly built to last!

Marco

I had the pleasure of working with Brian, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome of my experience! From the design of our shed to the seamless delivery, everything exceeded my expectations!
