Finished portable cabins and buildings have a wide range of uses from tiny homes and weekend getaway cabins to office space or even a play house or hunting cabin.

Financing a finished portable building or cabin through rent to own usually isn’t an option, as the financing limit has a maximum of $15,000 whereas most finished buildings are well over that amount. Light Stream financing has a maximum finance amount of $100,000 which easily covers a finished out cabin.

A bathroom can certainly be put in a finished portable cabin or building – most people do!

Most certainly – finished portable cabins are a great way to get a tiny house! You do need to do your homework with your local building inspector as to what the local regulations are. Certain jurisdictions do not allow a portable structure to be used as a permanent dwelling place.

A finished portable cabin can sleep varying amounts of people depending on the size. Most of our customers sleep anywhere from 2-14 people depending on the size and if there are lofts.
